A recent merger of two independent seniors facilities funded by the Mennonite communities of neighbouring towns in southern Ontario required that a new, collective brand identity be created. The new identity would need to speak to both the Mennonite clients the homes already attract and to clients from outside of the Mennonite community interested in the unique quality of service offered.

The Aegis research team was brought in to assess the complicated web of stakeholder perspectives and interests in the project––from residents and family members to medical researchers developing cutting edge programs with the sites––producing a clear brand value statement, market position and the language to communicate the organization’s truly unique services, including the organization’s new name.
