The York School is an independent school that is challenging traditional educational approaches with incredible results. A successful and long-standing International Baccalaureate World School in Toronto, we have enjoyed a collaborative relationship with the School for a period of eight years. Generally, within the independent school market, schools communicate remarkably similarly—from design, photography to language. The trusting relationship we have enjoyed with the Head of School and the Director of Marketing has permitted us to take risks and develop creative authentic to The York School brand.
Over the years, we have produced a range of communications and multimedia brand campaigns shaping the School’s public image. “Take on the World,” our most recent campaign, positions TYS as a school where students are uniquely prepared to build fulfilling careers and lives. All of our campaigns leverage the voice of York School students—as the students are bright, well-rounded, articulate and self-reflexive—making them the best possible spokespeople. In addition to helping meet recruitment goals, the campaigns have strengthened the brand’s visibility and market share.
